Your questions, answeredSideby Parent lives in your browser. Sideby Connect is the upcoming Android companion for your child’s device.
Android connection testing is the next milestone.Create a parent account and add a profile for each child in the parent dashboard.
The planned companion uses an expiring code. You compare the details and confirm the device in Sideby Parent.
Device check-ins will show when the companion was last heard from. Permissions and future features stay explicit.
We’re building Sideby in stages. Here’s where things stand, without the fine print.
Accounts, multiple child profiles, private profile photos, saved routines and the web side of device pairing.
A visible Sideby Connect app: enter a pairing code, confirm the device and test real check-ins.
Device activity, permissions and authorised sharing. Live media and device controls need real-device testing before release.

Yes. Sideby Connect will be a visible companion with clear permission explanations. Sideby does not hide itself or pretend to be a system service. Planned live sessions require device authorization and visible controls.
Not yet. Routines can be saved in the dashboard, but they are not enforced on a phone. Usage, location, notifications and live media await Android integration and permission testing. Social notifications will show only available notification previews, not complete private conversations.
Android is the first companion platform we plan to test. We do not currently promise an iPhone companion or equivalent features across platforms.
Connected families. Healthy habits.
